8mm Rubber Rolls are the general-purpose weight of the range, and the one most floors end up on — heavy enough for a working gym, still light enough to handle without a crew.

At 1.8 lb per sq. ft. the extra mass over the 6mm is what absorbs a dropped dumbbell and keeps the noise out of the room below, which is why it suits a training studio or a basement as readily as a garage.

Each roll is 4' x 25' and covers 100 sq. ft. A rolled floor has no joints to work loose underfoot the way a tiled one can, so it holds up under equipment that gets dragged rather than carried.

For a platform or a drop zone, go to the 10mm. Competition bumpers released from overhead are a different load again.

Allow for overage. Rolls are sold whole at 100 sq. ft., so round up to the next roll and add 5% to 10% for trimming — 5% on a simple rectangular room, closer to 10% where there are corners, columns and doorways to cut around.

Black and Platinum are the stocked colours. Other colours and roll sizes are available as a custom order, subject to a minimum quantity and a lead time.
